On my last email to Raptr I got this response: The rewards system is not "frozen". New items will be added in the near future. Our records indicate that you are not currently using the AMD version of our client, which means that certain rewards would not be visible to your account or available to claim. However, this is an easy fix! If you visit http://raptr.com/AMD, you will be able to download and install the AMD version of the client. Once it's been successfully installed, you should then be able to see all of the rewards available to you in your region. Let us know if you have any difficulty! Have a great day. I had the raptr client, downloaded by them as well. Ofc with the client of amd which is pretty much the same I didn't see any more rewards. And it's easy to see that if you visit their web page without login. Only 3 sweepstakes and 2 smite rewards I believe for Brazil. So it's not region subject. At least it would be good to be informed officially by their disappeared staff about the rewards program to decide if we want to keep this app for its other features. Cause Raptr claimed in another mail to me that the majority of gamers that use this app is for its features and not for the possible rewards it promised. Let's be honest: gamers know what apps they need. Even the ones that raptr offers. So yes the rewards program is a reason to have this app installed on a pc
A few months ago I saw the rewards dwindling away to nothing. I was holding out hoping that there was going to be a revamp in the rewards system with some more rewards. But alas we are now down to 3 rewards that some of us have a 'chance' to win. I was hoping to get DmC: Devil May Cry but now that is shattered unless a moderator/Admin would like to step in and say otherwise.
There is absolutely NO reason to run this piece of crap software except for the rewards. The recording client doesn't work properly most of the time, the app itself crashes several games consistently (I have to remember to shut this down every time I want to play AC Syndicate), and the optimization options are wrong at least 90% of the time - this junk still doesn't have multi-monitor support and wants to set all my game to the wrong resolution!
This thing is literally terrible, and the only reason I've kept running it is the chance I might be able to get a free game. But it looks like AMD has totally flown the coop on us loyal customers - there weren't any giveaways this Christmas unless you wanted to drop $600 on a Fury, and none of the 390s went on sale at all. The Never Settle program has been abandoned, the rewards here have been abandoned - they just seem intent on justifying all the crap Nvidia fanboys throw at us. The least they could do is stop forcing us to install this junk with every rare driver update.
