Aliens: Covenant, por mucho, es un desastre. Y lo único que sostiene la cinta son precisamente esas 2 escenas que no se incluyeron en la exhibición normal del film.

Covenant muestra a la tripulación más torpe de toda la historia de la sci-fi. Period. Queda en mí la duda si Ridley lo hizo a propósito de tal manera que este hecho de pie al verdadero protagonista de todo el mundo Alien: David.

Y bajo esta luz, Covenant me parece ahora la pieza fundamental de toda la franquicia. Malísima en muchos aspectos pero con el ingrediente cero que explica la génesis del problema Alien.

Con gusto esperaré a que Ridley decida, en algún momento realizar la continuación de Prometheus-Covenant.

Alien: Covenant tiene ahora un lugar muy especial en mi corazoncito. Especialmente esa edición de blu-ray.
